Well it’s back to my original work since both rough drafts of my big bangs are out of the way. Unfortunately I couldn’t bring myself to do any writing yesterday. Was hanging out with folks and going clothes shopping with my sister for her birthday. Then tried out the Harry Potter and the Death Hallows Part 1 game, only to end up needing to lie down due to a bout of motion sickness. I don’t know what it is about certain first-person games, but they tend to give me problems like that. *sad face* I was really starting to get good at it too…

So today we woke up relatively early (ie. before noon for the weekend, kiddies) and headed down to the French Market to have brunch. I had some delicious strawberry French toast, Kelley and I got some time to chill, and we both got to talk at length about our novels. We were comparing character complexity, and I was trying to bounce some brainstorming for her to help her figure out where to go next. Then I ended up needing to write double the word count today to make up for my laziness yesterday, and looking at the clock now, I see it’s taken me about ~4 hours with breaks. Dang, it shouldn’t take me so long!

Next up I’ve got to figure out what POV to take, and whether to finish up this current scene or move ahead to the action sequence I’ve got planned. Do I stay sequential, or should I move out of sequence just to liven it up a bit? Hmm…
