I started up my piece for my Zombie Bang, and if you’ve been reading my Twitter feed you’ll notice that Regulus has grown to have a rather amusing voice. This is all being done in first person past perspective, and Regulus is so channeling a gay twenties gangster in my head. I had no idea he was going to turn out this way, I promise! But since I ended up deciding he was going to be a gay character back in Short of a Dark Lord, I decided that I may as well roll with it for this short one-shot piece. Reading the other long fic really has no bearing on this one, it’s just going to turn out to be a cute complement.

Summary: Regulus Black discusses life as an inferi, living with his new deadbeat neighbors, and then gets a surprise visit from mister tall, dark, and reptilian himself. Apparently Voldemort wasn’t quite finished with him, even though he is technically dead now.

Regulus talks about his “final trip to the soup” and how he and his gang of “slobs” have to entertain themselves now. It’s not the prettiest picture in the world, but if you have a flair for morbid humor, this will be right up your alley! Oh yeah, and Bella got decidedly creepier as she got older.
