When I tell you this story was absolutely fantastic, just trust me on it. I can’t say much about it cause the twist in storytelling is just so good!
Two friends are sitting at a kitchen table and one of them is clearly ill, holding the other at gunpoint. What proceeds is a fascinating back and forth that felt like it could have been a theater play. I didn’t expect a monster, but oh boy there was one!
This story was so good I immediately went to see what other stories Jason Mott had written, but unfortunately at least on Goodreads I didn’t see much horror he had written. Still had to give him a follow cause this story felt timeless. It felt like something I could see being acted out on a stage, and I just loved it.
Easily five stars from me!
