Happy Cover Reveal to The Sea Witch Follows

The book for The Sea Witch Follows by Marlena Frank lays on top of black wings with a tiny black crescent moon above. Beside it are two potion bottles, one that has a picture of a raven with flowers that says Raven’s claws. In the background are manuscript pages written in black ink but the words are illegible. The cover for The Sea Witch Follows is an image of a white and black lighthouse at night with a golden light emerging from the tower. Black swirls and blue lanterns surround it as it sits atop a rocky crag and sea water splashes around it.

I’ve been working on this book for over a year now and it’s so great to be able to not only share this gorgeous cover from JV Arts, but also to be able to finally talk about it!

With this book, I really tried to capture the gothic romanticism of lonely lighthouses, but also explore the beginnings of a cute romance. Not to mention the terrifying sea witch that lurks on the shore. This is a fun mixture of a variety of genres, like so much of what I write. The Sea Witch Follows is a YA Dark Fantasy with horrific elements but also features romance and mystery as well. It also features an adorable kitty too, but I’ll talk more about him later.

This is book 2 in my Monstrous Creatures series, where teens go up against terrifying monsters. But it is also a standalone book. I simply have too many book ideas with this theme to not put it into a series. I’m so excited to be able to add a new standalone to this series

The Sea Witch Follows is available to pre-order wherever books are sold in ebook, paperback, and hardback. Releasing September 18th.
