No more word debt!

I think I finally caught up with my Camp NaNo requirement today! I had a major fight scene to close out with an unexpected dark creature suddenly showing up. Lucius and company do the best they can though, even though there are a number of injuries left in the aftermath. I think I may have one or two more parts to write to this story before I’ll be completely finished with it. Yay!

It’s about 9:30 now and I’ve got kitties on both sides of me. Watson’s sitting on the couch with me, glaring and wondering why I haven’t gone to bed yet, and Salem’s decided to head to sleep on the ottoman. I have such cute, sleepy kitties!

In other news, I watched the last episode for the first season of Sherlock. Let me just say that I was surprised they left it on such a dangerous cliffhanger! Reading over the setup info for the show, I was under the impression that this was a test run for the series to see how it would be accepted. After that final episode, I guess there was no worry! Now I just have to wait on Netflix to come out with the next seasons already.

Summary: The time is before the Prophecy, and a young Lucius Malfoy is sent to explore the disappearance of a Death Eater family. When he comes across their bodies, he calls on Severus to assist him. Together they have to figure out the mystery behind the murder, and deal with the revelation of the Prophecy – and how Lucius and Narcissa’s son might be involved.

    • Hi Jeyna,

Camp NaNo is short for Camp NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month). The regular NaNo is typically held in November each year, where you try to write 50k words in a month. It’s really handy cause you can get word statistics, and it really forces you to put words down on the page.

Here’s a link to the regular NaNoWriMo: http://www.nanowrimo.org/
And to Camp NaNoWriMo. The beta July camp just finished, but the August camp is about to start tomorrow, if you’re interested. http://campnanowrimo.org/

      Hope you try it out!

      Lena
